In this workshop you’ll learn how to knit the various parts of a top-down sock. In knitting socks there are some spots in the sock in which a decision must be made – we will tackle them one by one:
*casting on an elastic border
*going from cuff to leg
*which heel to choose and why
*how does a comfy sock foot look
*which toe to choose and why
*closing the toe – with a.o. the Kitchener Stitch
We will be practicing a lot and you will be going home with a magnificent sock swatch.
In order to participate in this workshop you’ll have to be able to knit in the round with dpn’s of with the magic loop method. In the workshop there is no time to explain and/or practise this.
