Arno Baes – Interactive lecture ‘how to make your own crochet charts’

In this interactive lecture you will learn the basics of the making of crochet charts. Crochet Charts is a free and open source program with which one relatively simple make crochet schedules can imagine graphically.
We begin by explaining the basics of the program and after  that Arno goes deeper into the additional features of the program. He will illustrate this with a few examples on the basis of already-made charts. Finally he will show you how to make a simple crochet chart. Afterwards there is time for questions and comments.

This lecture will be given by Arno Baes, with the assistance of crochet designer Annelies Baes. Annelies works a lot with this program for designing her crochet patterns so she will be able to answer user questions. Arno is a student at the University of Antwerp. Along with professors and students of the University of Hasselt he renews the Crochet Charts software program.

You do not need to prepare, take along a pen and paper to take notes.
It is already possible to download the program (see above) so that you have an impression of the program and can ask focused questions.

Following this reading, it is possible to book a workshop of half an hour with Arno. Here you get one on one help and explanation of the use of the program.
